the friend add.

today, a well-known recruiter befriended me on Facebook. my first thought was "Whoa, how does she even know who i am and why does she want to be my friend?!" my second thought was, "this is going to be awkward. i'm also friends with my boss on Facebook." my third thought was, "how can i turn this into a raise?"

i'm thinking i could just write something on her wall that looks suspicious. something subtle like, "thanks for lunch!"

or i could tag her on any status update where i'm complaining about my job.

or i could just make all my status updates about fake awards i just received. "Finally got my gold Lion in the mail. wondering what the hold up was, but after all, it is France."

i'm just kidding. i'll probably just ignore the fact that we're now Facebook friends and stress out every time i post something that she'll see it and judge me. you know, the usual.
